How to see all your X (Twitter) bookmarks

Your saved posts live behind one menu item called Bookmarks — in the side menu on the web, and behind your profile picture in the mobile app. Here is where to click, how to search inside the list, and what to do once it gets too long to scroll.

  1. 1. On the web (x.com)

Sign in at x.com and click Bookmarks in the left-hand side menu. If you don't see it, click More and pick Bookmarks from the list. The page loads your saved posts newest first.

  2. 2. On iPhone or Android

Open the X app, tap your profile picture in the top-left corner to open the side menu, then tap Bookmarks. The same list appears, in the same order.

  3. 3. Search inside your bookmarks

On the Bookmarks page, use the search field at the top to filter your saved posts by keyword. This searches only what you saved, so it's the fastest way to find a specific post you remember bookmarking.

  4. 4. Use the advanced search operator

In X's main search box, add filter:bookmarks to any query — for example react filter:bookmarks — to search your saved posts alongside other operators such as from: or since:.

  5. 5. Sort into Bookmark Folders (Premium)

X Premium subscribers can group saved posts into folders: open a bookmarked post's share menu, choose Bookmark, then pick or create a folder. Folders appear at the top of the Bookmarks page.

Why can't I find the Bookmarks menu item?

On the web it is hidden behind More when your side menu is collapsed; in the mobile app it only appears in the slide-out menu behind your profile picture, not in the bottom tab bar. You also have to be signed in — bookmarks are tied to your account, not to the device.

Is there a limit to how many posts I can bookmark?

X does not publish a hard cap, and in practice most people never hit one. The real limit is scrolling: the list is a single reverse-chronological feed, so anything you saved a few months ago is effectively buried.

Can I see my bookmarks from a specific week?

Not directly. The list has no date filter and no calendar view — you can only scroll back until you reach the right time period, or search for a keyword you remember. This is the main reason people lose track of what they saved.

Can I export my X bookmarks?

There is no built-in export button. Bookmarks are available through X's official API, which is what tools built on top of it — including Rewind — use after you authorise read-only access from your account.

Do bookmarks sync between devices?

Yes. Bookmarks are saved to your account, so anything you bookmark on your phone shows up on the web immediately, and the other way round.

What happens if the original post is deleted?

It disappears from your bookmarks too. Saving a post does not keep a copy — if the author deletes it or makes their account private, it's gone from your list as well.

Or have them come to you

Finding a bookmark is easy. Remembering to go looking is the hard part. Rewind sends the posts you saved each week back to you every Sunday in one email — grouped by topic, each with a short AI summary and a link to the original — using read-only access to your bookmarks.
