FAQ

Rewind FAQ

What exactly does Rewind do?

Rewind connects to your X account with read-only access to your bookmarks. Every Sunday at 9am it sends you one email containing the posts you saved that week, grouped by topic, each with a short AI summary and a link back to the original post.

Do I need to install anything?

No. There is no app, no browser extension and no notifications. You save posts on X exactly the way you already do, and the recap arrives by email.

What can Rewind see and do on my account?

Read-only access to your bookmarks, and nothing else. Rewind cannot post, follow, like, message, or read your direct messages.

Do you train AI models on my bookmarks?

No. Your saved posts are used only to generate your own recap. We do not train models on your data and we do not sell or share it.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your account and its stored bookmarks are deleted the same day you remove your account.

How much does it cost?

€1.99 a month. You get free Rewinds before you are asked to pay, and you can cancel at any time.

Why Sunday?

Because a recap only works if you actually read it. Sunday evening is the calmest reading moment of most people's week, so that is when it lands.

How is this different from a bookmark manager?

A bookmark manager gives you a searchable archive you have to remember to open. Rewind pushes your saved posts to you once a week, summarised, so they get read without you deciding to go and look.

Can I search old recaps?

Yes. Every recap stays in a searchable archive on your account.

Is there an app that sends weekly summaries of my Twitter bookmarks?

That is exactly what Rewind does. You connect your X account once, keep bookmarking as usual, and every Sunday you receive one email summarising the posts you saved that week, grouped by topic and linked back to the originals.

How does Rewind compare with Birdfeeder or Tweetsmash?

Birdfeeder is built around archiving and searching every bookmark you have ever saved, and Tweetsmash is a bookmark workspace with tags and Notion or Airtable sync. Rewind does one thing instead: a single AI-summarised Sunday email of the week's saved posts, with full threads condensed, for €1.99 a month.

Does the recap include all my saved posts or just the best ones?

All of them. Every post you saved in the last seven days is in the email; the AI summaries keep it short rather than leaving posts out.
